Ceramic Coating — Santa Clarita
Professional ceramic nano-coating applied by a trained installer. Every Gloss Shield package includes paint correction — we fix defects first, then lock in a flawless finish. Choose the protection level that matches how long you plan to keep your vehicle.
The Science
A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your vehicle's clear coat, forming a semi-permanent layer of protection. Unlike wax or sealant that sit on top of the paint, ceramic fuses with the surface — and it doesn't wash away. The result is a hydrophobic, UV-resistant finish that repels water, blocks environmental contaminants, and makes the car dramatically easier to wash for years.
The hydrophobic effect is striking — water beads and sheets off the surface rather than clinging to the paint, which also means less water spotting and road grime sticking between washes. The coating also adds a layer of hardness over your clear coat that resists light swirl marks and wash-induced scratches better than unprotected paint.
The UV-blocking properties prevent paint oxidation and color fade — a real benefit for cars in Southern California's sun.
Gloss Shield Packages
Three tiers of correction-inclusive ceramic protection. Every Gloss Shield package includes staged paint correction — we never apply ceramic to paint that hasn't been corrected first. Choose the tier that matches your paint's condition and how long you plan to keep the vehicle.
All ceramic pricing shown is for base vehicle size. Large trucks and full-size SUVs may have a size upcharge discussed at assessment.
Why It Matters
A ceramic coating is semi-permanent. That means if you coat over swirls, scratches, or oxidation, those defects are locked in — preserved under the ceramic for years. It's one of the most common mistakes in the detailing industry, and it's irreversible without stripping the coating entirely.
Every Gloss Shield package includes paint correction — there is no "skip the correction" option. If we identify paint that needs more or less work than expected at your free assessment, we'll quote you the right tier for your specific vehicle. We never coat paint that isn't ready for it.
For Gloss Shield Plus, Pro, and Ultra — correction is always included. We machine-polish each panel, IPA wipe to remove all residue, then apply the coating. No shortcuts, no coating over defects.
No Obligation
Every ceramic coating project starts the same way: a free in-person paint inspection. Matt evaluates your paint under proper lighting, identifies the type and severity of defects present, and determines which correction stage will achieve the best result on your specific vehicle.
From that inspection, you get an exact price — not an estimate range, not "starting from." A real number for your real car. If the numbers don't work for you, there's no pressure and no obligation. The assessment is completely free.
Most assessments take 20–30 minutes. We can typically schedule your assessment within 3–5 days.
